I don’t think even this stop sign is liking this heat wave Lol!😅

Liz calculated that this Western Red Cedar tree in our front yard is well over 500 years old!😳
Over hundreds of years this majestic Cedar tree had seen many summers without a drop of rain, and triple digit Fahrenheit heat!😅
This tree was standing tall when our Country was formed…….amazing!😇
Today Silvertop was giving away his old firewood hauling Ford Ranger pickup to a friend of our oldest son.
I no longer use this truck…… and it needs TLC!😇
Kyle already has two Rangers, and this truck is for his son to restore, it has found a good home!

Too hot for a hike today, we jumped in the Mrs car, turned on the air, and headed to town.
I checked my WiFi and our loft back home was a cool 68 degrees!😇
While Silvertop picked up shelving brackets and parts, Liz found a bit neglected African violet. A little water before we started back home, and the plant was already perking up!☺️
Just like my old Ford, they both found a good home!🤗
My friend @runridefly said it’s 100 degrees in California as well………
Maybe we all need a bit of rain, and some cooler weather!

You know, a few years ago I would not have thought it but now I have to say, the Ford Ranger family, all of them Explorers and Aviators / Mountaineers, etc.. are probably the best vehicle Ford ever built, maybe best vehicle ever built?!?!

It was indeed too hot today! Alas! We begin August tomorrow.....traditionally one of the hottest months of the summer! I can't wait (can you feel the sarcasm here?). At least we have air conditioning and mocha frappes to stay cool with! 🤗😘💖
