My phone started buzzing……….
Silvertop just crested the “High Trail”, someone was texting.🤔
It was our youngest son, showing me the dashboard thermometer in his car, 105 degrees Fahrenheit!🥵
“Bill remember is doesn’t get hot in the Pacific Northwest Lol!😇
I sent him a text back showing my Fitbit with over five miles hiked today.
No reply………..
I know my son, he is probably wondering if Dad is losing it Lol!🤣
I passed the pond on today’s hike, look close and you can see the water level is dropping from the hot weather, and lack of rain.
My Canadian neighbor has not come down for this weekend, so I hiked up to his cabin, just to make sure everything was Ok.
It was time to head downhill, and as I passed these tall trees in the last photo I stopped for a moment………
Hmmm…….
Side by side, a majestic Douglas Fir on a left, and a equally impressive Western Red Cedar on the right!😊
I’m sure these trees have seen lots of hot Summers!😊

“Dad, drink LOTS of water!”🥰
Definitely Bill, and your Mom just got home, and she’s making a couple of ice cold Mocha Frappuccino‘s!🤗
