Happy New Year everyone! 🎊🎆🎈

Where has the time gone? It seems impossible the year has passed, but tomorrow dawns the beginning of 2023! 😁

Today, we needed to go to church and take another stab at finishing the sound system. We are meeting a guy on Monday who’s working on the new projector and needs us there for sound incorporation. We finished some final cables and turned it on. It has specific steps for booting up and down. I did the honors. It works! Yippee!! However, we did soon learn that there are some connectivity issues with the iPad and router. This system allows you to run sound wirelessly via the iPad. I am thinking since it’s been out of use for over a year, one or two things. First, it’s likely we need an iOS update, app update and firmware update. Once we get the chance in a couple of weeks from now to accomplish that, we’ll see if that does the trick. If not, then it’s possible we need a new router. We aren’t sure whether or not it got wet when the roof leaked. Either way, we just need time to troubleshoot, and for now, that has to wait. It’s usable the way it is-you just can’t undock the iPad for now.

In the afternoon, we went to our older son’s house to finally have Christmas. We kind of separated into Mike and Michael talking and Christine and I talking. It was nice to visit. Michael had done a beef brisket in his smoker, so we had a lovely dinner as well. Afterwards, we exchanged gifts. It was a lovely time. 🥰

Now, only a few hours remain of 2022. This is also the 42nd anniversary of mine and @silvtertop’s blind date! Has it been that long, really? Happy New Year honey!

Thank you @ruffatotmeee ! It was a lovely time with the family! This coming weekend, we are headed to our other son's home, about 100 miles from our home, to celebrate a belated Christmas as well.
