Nora had a smile on her face as she got pulled away from the courtroom and into a hallway. The judge had sentenced her to death by lethal injection and yet she didn’t give a damn. She didn’t regret one bit of the things she had done, as a matter of fact, she was proud of herself for helping all of those women become free.

Nora had been charged with multiple murders, all of which she had admitted to committing. When asked why she did it, Nora had told the court about her late husband, Michaelson. How he had abused her on multiple occasions. When asked if she reported any of this abuses to the authorities, Nora had gone mad. She had yelled at the lawyer, telling him of how she had reported countless times and yet nothing was done.

“So I decided to take matters into my own hands” Nora had said with a smile that scared even the judge. “I had waited for him to return home that night, then I placed some drugs in his dinner and waited till he could no longer move. I didn’t want him to be unconscious, nooo. I wanted him to be awake so that he could feel every pain I’ve felt as I slowly gutted him open” Nora had said, causing everyone in the courtroom to mumble.

But Nora had not stopped there. She had decided that every other woman out there going through domestic violence needed to be free just like she now was free, so she applied for a job at one of the organizations that dealt in domestic violence cases and from time to time, she would steal a patience file and go through it. And then in about a week or there about, she would visit the patience husband, somehow she would find a way to drug him. Not making him unconscious, she would leave him awake enough for him to feel as much pain as he could endure before finally giving up.

By the time Nora was done with her story, the judge had heard enough to know someone like her didn’t deserve to be sent to prison. Nora wasn’t remorseful for any of her actions, she had claimed she would do it over again and again if given the chance. So the judge had sentenced her to death by lethal injection. There was no saving this woman.
