Sweden were to start their European Championship finals against the great power from Spain on Monday night. It was a Swedish team without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which did not improve the Swedish chances in the showdown.

Spain sat on the game from the start and put pressure on Sweden to the bottom. This is how the battle picture continued for a long time, which meant that it was on Swedish sweat in Seville, where the Spaniards delivered heavy pressure and were constantly dangerous around the Swedish field.
The Spanish pressure resulted in great chances for both Dani Olmo and Koke, but a great save by Robin Olsen and a full-blown biscuit meant that the Swedes could still keep a clean sheet.
After 37 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defense allowed Alvaro Morata to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors.
Shortly afterwards, however, Alexander Isak was close to giving Sweden a surprising lead. The Swedish striker came through freely, but he ended up taking several moves with the ball, and in the end he could not force the finish into goal, even though it hit the post via a straightening on Marcos Llorente.
The first half therefore did not offer any goals due to blurring.

After the break, the fighting scene continued with Spanish dominance. However, it seemed that Sweden had got blood on their teeth after the great chance for Isak at the end of the first half.
Sweden took more initiative and it was a frustration for the Spanish game.
After 60 minutes, Alexander Isak came back in again. In an attack where it looked like it was running into the sand, Isak managed to dribble through three Spanish defenders, after which he sent a pass in to Marcus Berg, who missed the biggest chance of the match in a shameful way.
After the scare, Spain came back on the ball and put some pressure on the Swedish field again. Sweden, however, was very resilient and repeatedly rejected the Spanish approaches.
As the clock clocked 90 minutes, Gerard Moreno came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Pablo Sarabia delivered a millimeter-accurate pass into the forehead of Moreno, but a phantom save from Robin Olsen ensured the continued clean cage of the Swedes.
Three minutes later it was Sarabia who had the last foot on a post, but also here Robin Olsen stood in the way of a Spanish scoring.

The match thus ended without goals, but it was certainly not because the chances were not present.

Very disappointing performance from both sides. Despite the opportunities that presented they couldn't still convert.

The Spanish team are not really good as I initially thought, because if they play this way, they will falling off at the next stage.

I hope they rediscover their form and become more clinical instead of just gathering possession that doesn't translate to any result.
