Roma have been looking for Arsenal player Granit Xhaka since the hiring of José Mourinho as the new coach. This is because Mourinho sees the Swiss as an indispensable part of his system.

Therefore, Roma are also willing to go to great lengths in their efforts to secure the midfielder, which is why they have accepted that Xhaka will cost €15 million and Xhaka will earn €2 Million per year.

The plan is for Xhaka to attend Roma training camp as early as next week ahead of the upcoming season. Xhaka has been playing for Arsenal since the summer of 2016, when he was sign from Borussia Mönchengladbach for a transfer fee of €35 Million. He featured in 220 Arsenal matches, Xhaka has scored 13 goals and 20 assists.

Mourinho sure a good eye for good player. I believe the Switzerland Captain would be a great addition to Roma team who intend to revitalize their game under the Portuguese coach.

I Hope this deal eventually pulls through. The Italian league would sure an exciting one in the coming season as the race for the Scudetto would be a tough one.
