Alderweireld have taken another step ahead of his career
It was officially announced that Tottenham Hotspur has part ways with one of their best defender who has served them for so long Alderweireld has moved to Qatar Al-Duhail SC on a permanent transfer. He will be a great signing and a good addition to the Arab team, his experience and personality will be important in the team.
Alderweireld spent six years with Tottenham Hotspur, it was not easy to leave a team that he loved and hopes he enjoyed more time with them. He was originally expected to return to his hometown club but the Rab team was able to come up with a sweet deal and paid £13m to sign Alderweireld.
Alderweireld was unable to lift any throphy with Tottenham Hotspur but the only throphy he will never forget is the Uefa Champion league which they lost to Liverpool, However, he shows gratitude to the club and all his team mate for the good time they spent together.

I doubt if this decision will not affect the team performance in this coming season. This is because the player has been fantastic and the idea of selling such a versatile strong defender like this is not really good enough.
Tottenham seem to be losing some really good players this transfer window. A little surprised this top defender would be leaving for the middle east. I guess it's time to rack in more millions for the Belgium international.
Been just 32 year old the defender still has some few years left at the top stage has he still look quite decent in the previous season. He is really a great addition to the Arab Club.
Tottenham Hotspur should be sweating their ass with top performer having left. This is a big hole in the team has the position will be quite difficult to replace easily considering the experience and skill the Belgian professional brought to the team.
Wish the star defender all the best in his new endeavor at Qatar Stars league and many trophies to his cabinet has he seemed to lack some of all those after the years he gave the London Club.
