An Orange Glow and a Flooded Street
This yellow-orange color is natural.
Flooding After a Massive Downpour
Whenever we get a big rain, our street floods. We are at a corner of the subdivision that collects all the rain from the neighborhood so we get ankle deep water in the street.
The water was covering some of the grass.
My Camera Tried to Auto Correct the Color
The sky was overcast during the sunset and it caused this amazing orange light to shine over everything as it got dark. All these photos represent the actual color of everything while we were outside.
This photo almost looks sepia, but it's natural light.
A Surreal Evening
It was after 9:30 pm, but in the summer the light lingers for a long time. Our children came inside from splashing in the street, showered and went straight to bed. They were pretty tired after all that activity!
We watched them pretty closely, some people like to drive their cars through the water, splashing it everywhere.
Not a single car drove by in the water.
