The 1st T20I match of the Sri Lanka Women tour of Pakistan, 2022 played today at Southend Club Cricket Stadium, Karachi, in which Pakistan Women beat Sri Lanka Women by 6 wickets.

Sri Lanka Women batted first after winning the toss, and started the inning not very well, Harshitha Madavi scored 25 runs in 35 balls, Nilakshi de Silva 25 runs in 22 balls, Anushka Sanjeewani 16 runs in 19 balls, Ama Kanchana 12 runs in 17 balls, apart from this no batsman could play well, Chamari Athapaththu 6 runs, Sugandika Kumari remains unbeaten for 6 runs, Hasini Perera scored 4 runs, Oshadi Ranasinghe scored 4 runs, Inoka Ranaweera remains unbeaten for 2 runs, and Kavisha Dilhari dismissed for 1 run. In this way, Sri Lanka Women could score just 106 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs and set a target of 107 runs for Pakistan Women.

Pakistan Womens bowlers performed very brilliant bowling, Tuba Hassan took 3 wickets just for 8 runs, Anam Amin took 3 wickets just for 21 runs, and Aiman Anwer took 2 wickets for 32 runs.

Pakistan Women achived the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in the second ball of the 19th and won the match by 6 wickets.

In this way, Pakistan Women chased the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in 18.2 over and won the match by 6 wickets.

Sri Lankan Women's bowlers Oshadi Ranasinghe took 2 wickets for 20 Kavisha Dilhari and Sugandika Kumari got 1-1 wicket.

Pakistani Women bowler Tuba Hassan selected the best player of the match, she performed very brilliant following took 3 wickets just for 8 runs in her spell.

Well, congratulations to the Pakistan woman. I can imagine what the win would mean to them as cricket is seen and perceived close to religion in these country.
