The 7th Match of the ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2022 was played today between Scotland vs Ireland at Bellerive Oval, Hobart. In which Ireland beat Scotland by 6 wickets.

Scotland batted fist after winning the toss, started the inning very brilliantly, althought the first wicket has gone very quikly, George Munsey and Michael Jones came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone very quickly just for 1 run in 1.1 over, George Munsey dismissed just for 1 run, next batsman Matthew Cross came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 59 runs with Michael Jones, the second wicket has gone for 60 runs in first ball of the 9th over, Matthew Cross dismissed after scoring 28 runs in 21 balls, next batsman Richie Berrington came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 77 runs with Michael Jones for the third wicket, the third wicket has gone for 137 runs in first ball of the 17th over, Richie Berrington dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 37 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 boundaries in just 27 balls, followed by Michael Leask came to bat and played well with Michael Jones, the fourth wicket has gone for 170 runs in 18.5 over, Michael Jones dismissed after playing a very brilliant quick half-century inning of 86 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 6 boundaries in just 55 balls, next batsman Calum MacLeod came to bat and he dismissed without scoring in final ball of the inning as fifth wicket, the team score was 176 runs, and Michael Leask played an unbeaten inning of 17 runs with the help of 2 boundaries in 13 balls. In this way, Scotland scored 176 runs after losing 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 177 runs for Ireland.

In this way, Ireland chased the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in 19 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.

Scotland bowlers Mark Watt, Brad Wheal, Safyaan Sharif, and Michael Leask got 1-1 wicket.
