I'm really proud to show you this clip I worked on !

Everything happened around a 2 months ago. I was talking with a friend who worked with a guy really briefly for a clip.

My friend told me that this other guy (Sacha Arethura on instagram), The director of the clip, was making the editing and the visual effects alone. That's what he told me when I said "If he needs an editor, call me".

But, around one month after this. I've been followed by him and received a message. He was needing someone to make some special effects. And thankfully, that's my job !

I accepted and started to work. I realized I need to take few days to work my 3D modeling because for this part we needed someone else.

But the clip is now over and released !

I'm really happy being working on this. That's really something I can add to my portfolio and I'll put to my 2021 Demo reel !

Here are some of the effects I worked on, just for you !

This one, which was one of the first to be shown, in the first trailers, is one of my favorite. As most of time, it's often the easier that have the best results. It took me something like 10 minutes to do everything on that one.

This is the final plan of the clip, you can see this have all been made in 2D, no 3D. I just took some textures, the ground and some clouds and I've made it as a sphere. I needed to make color grading on it to make it as purple as the background to make it more realistic.

For this one I made everything which isn't 3D modeling. Adding the character, removing the green screen, Color grading, creating the shadows and move matching !

That Clip is also a reason why I don't need to power down after I broke my hard drive disk. Because even if the salary was pretty thin, there was a salary, enough to be able to finish my month without need of powering down !

I'll advertise for myself now.
