Kids: They Make It Worth It.

The fact that kids come with a lot of pure vibes and energy is very fascinating. Being with kids is something I love doing, it's like therapy sometimes. They are just so beautiful.

I got a job as a class teacher in September and it has been a life changing experience. They have made me see life from a different perspective. They constantly remind me that life is short and I should make the most of it.

I particularly enjoy hearing their stories, learning their language and generally being among them. I had the opportunity to teach students from different tribes:Igbo, Hausa and Ibibio and it has been fun. Their differences make them unique.

On good days, you teach, they learn, and totally understand but on other good days you could repeat one thing over and over again till you probably get tired. I've been there and I've done that😅.

They have so much love to give as they are young and I wonder why things change when they get older…because it always does.

Seeing these kids everyday just brings this joy, it's quite inexplicable. I just feel happy around them and I can never be in a bad mood when I'm around them.

How can I forget the fact that they love taking pictures and watching rhymes. Occasionally, I award them for their good performances with a picture session. Trust me, my phone space is always at risk because they always always have different poses for different filters 😂.

Being a teacher is a very stressful job but the kids make it worthwhile. They are truly beautiful gems😇. I feel very honored to teach them.
