Red Burgundy
(Edited)
Hello Hive! So last night I cracked open a bottle of 2016 Red Burgundy. Burgundy is a small region in Eastern France, and the main grapes are Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. So a Red Burgundy is Pinot Noir. And let me tell you folks, Pinot from Burgundy is fit for the gods!
There are other regions in the world that do Pinot well, like the wine regions in California that have coastal influences, on up in the Willemette Valley in Oregon. However Burgundy is the hole of a Pinot noir. Pinot is on the lighter side of life, and the taste profiles can range drastically. A great Pinot is seductive, and memorizing all the way down to the last drop. They say, once you go Burgundy, you never come back;)

Watch that short clip lol
😆
Can you believe that movie caused a drop in merlot sales, and a rise in Pinot?
since most folks are not thinking anymore today and often have no clue about wine, yep i could believe that... 😁
Whats even more funny is when someone asked that guy what his best botte he has, he had a Bourdoux blend he was raving about, and guess what? A merlot blend!
hahaha, i'm so not surprised...
It is a good movie though. Its called Sideways, check it out
