GOD CAN RESTORE: THE JOY OF SALVATION

Lord God, I know you can restore,
all that you’ve got for me in store
My peace, my joy, my salvation
Create a clean heart in me O Lord
A heart that is drawn only to YOU
Teach me to thy ways Lord
and my heart will be satisfied
my spirit seems sick so soon
that I can no longer connect to you
Please cast me not away
Put me not out of your presence
Thy presence means much to me
Your presence is food to my spirit
I communion with you as friend to friend
Lord, long have I talked to you
Long have I heard you speak to me
Long have I felt your loving arms
Wrapped all over me with care
For my spirit man seems weak and withdrawn
Therefore Lord, take not thy Holy Spirit from me
Thy Holy Spirit is the warmth I need
Restore the joy of my salvation
Restore to me the lost glory
Restore me that fellow I shared with you
Lord, help me, uphold the right Spirit in me.
