We all saw the way Doge coin rose to fame like it was the next bitcoin, Elon Musk, Mark Cuban and Snoop Dogg threw their weight behind it and the market cap grew even more. Rising as high as $0.7 in the previous weeks from $0.3 and even below as a result of Elon's appearance on SNL. The coin which started a joke, became an altcoin in 2013 and has definitely pushed other founders to create other altcoins like it. For a coin that was supposed to remain a joke it is doing amazing than anyone would expect even though the price rate has dropped incredibly lately.

The first on my Shiba list is Shiba Inu token, an altcoin that is also called the Dogekiller although I don't know if it's supposed to do that literally or figuratively because it hasn't done as much as it's name implies. Although Vitalik Buterin donated 1billion dollar worth of Shiba Inu to India's Crytpto Covid Relief Fund, the price fell further to $0.000018, over 40% drop. Shiba Inu was created August 2020 by an anonymous founder perhaps to mimic the founder of bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto. This coin was initially ignored by many as perhaps another shit coin until it peaked at $0.000038 on May 10 causing people to invest in it's potential. It currently has a market cap of $6.52 billion and it has a limited supply unlike Dogecoin.

Dogemoon is next on my list, the first charity token on BSC as wel at $0.0006004 currently it has a limited supply and if currently being traded on PancakeSwap(v1). It is a deflationary cryptocurrency i.e everytime a transaction occurs 2% Is distributed and 2% is burned from the total supply thus increasing increasing it's scarcity. Dogemoon donates the USDT equivalent to a percentage of it's token to charities everytime there is a million dollar increase in it's market cap. While the meme idea from Doge coin is retained , the purpose for the coin as well as the supply is totally different. It has successfully donated to charities like Able Child Africa, UEFA children's charities and has plans to donate to more charities as it's market cap increases.

Next on my list is DogeCash, launched October 2018 and currently trades on StakeCube. It's website lead developer, James Stewart is a self taught programmer. DogeCash also has a limited supply at 128.28billion dollars and 21million coins respectively and is doing quite well for at $0.109211.

DogeFi is also another Doge inspired token currently trading at $1.20 although it has gone as high as $6.19 earlier this month. DogeFi is a unique gamified community and creates opportunity for it's members to participate in price arbitrage as well as granting them access to exclusive yield farming projects. It has a limited supply of 1,000,000 coins and trading on CoinTiger and UniSwap.
While there are many others like DogeSwap, there is still none as popular and exciting as Doge coin although Shiba Inu looks like it will be having a major breakthrough soon.
