Share Your Weekly Battle Using Dragons

It is another Splinterland weekly battle cha llenge and we are to make use of the dragon summoner this time around. The dragon world is a special kind of world where you can always merge with any other summoner monster and face your opponent. Still one of my favourite Summoner since I join splinterland because most of the dragon monsters are stronger than they look. Let dive into the challenge of the day.

This battle was between I and @crimsonstar in a 29 mana capped and a single rule which is the Fog of War where both sneak and snipe ability are not allowed. we were to pick between fire, death and dragon and i choose dragon and merge it with death summoner maybe because we can make use of water. So I choose my formation because I dont have any idea what the opponent might pick.

Harklaw as my frontline, we know how amazing this 8 mana card is with the 3 abilities at level 3. I picked it mainly because of the shield and the demoralize to as to reduce opponent melee attack.

Manticore always my second anytime I make use of dragon summoner since the Reach ability can make it attack from the second position. Also the thorn can give extra damages.

Phantom Soldier came into play because of the void and silence abilities incase the opponent make use of a magic monster cards, I can use this to reduce the damages it may cause.

Haunted Spider who wont love to have a monster with a poison ability which can automatically damage target at the beginning of each round.

Naga Assassin and Furious Chicken were there to take damages incase the opponent make use of monsters with the opportunity ability and my guess was really right.

I was actually surprised at my opponent choice, making use of melee attack alone which make phantom ability useless in the battle. He also make use of two opportunity monsters, He want me to lose and almost defeat me. His Magnor took most of the damages till i was able to defeat it while he kill my cards till it remain two..... check out the battle for the gist. Phantom save the day.
