I write to say I do appreciate you,
I appreciate your friendship,
I appreciate your care,
I appreciate you always being there.

Thank you for the love,
Even when I would scuff,
Even through the times that were tough,
I say thank you,
I know I can never thank you enough.

I'm grateful to you Alice,
For giving me a purpose,
Saving me from my dire crisis,
For giving me hope for a life filled with goodness.

Thank you for the meek attitude
For granting me security in your fortitude,
For showing me grace in ways I've never understood,
Thank you for the chance to show my gratitude.
