Lettuce is good for health
Lettuce contains a lot of lutein and vitamin A. Lutein is a component accumulated in the macula, which is the protective film inside the eye.
It plays an important role, and vitamin A beta-carotene promotes the resynthesis of rhodopsin, which detects red light in the retina, and is effective in maintaining eyesight by helping dry eye syndrome or night blindness.
And because lettuce is low in calories and rich in dietary fiber, you can easily feel full even if you eat a small amount.
Also, because it contains potassium, it helps the body to dispose of waste products and break down fat, which helps in weight loss.
