I believe you've had quite enough answers to your questions, lol.

Not all content needs to be long-form content. We all have busy lives and you can write whatever you please. The only thing is that with shorter form content, curators serving larger voters such as Curie and OCD, will likely skim past it. The platform has always been known for rewarding effort.

As for directing people to someone else's content, I feel that doing this is great, as long as it's not overdone. I, personally, only send people to others content with their knowledge. It's a great way for ListNerds users and Hiveans to increase their reach and engagement.

Blogging over the past five years, my content doesn't attract curie or ocd much, but for me it's more about consistency and not wasting people's time. I want my posts to only take my readers a few minutes, they can UV or not, rehive or not, comment or not - just so long as it doesn't take up too much of their valuable time.

Each to their own, right?

Some people enjoy reading longer-form content. For me, the sweet spot is between 500 - 1000 words. I enjoy reading a good story, so I'm happy to invest time reading something enjoyable.
