A little spice of

It's a lovely day to get cooking and I seriously enjoyed every spice of Gaga as I had to do all the preparation myself so I don't distracted.

You know what they say " too many cooks spoil the broth" so I had fun cooking alone.

I was craving a very sumptuous meal lately and decided to prepare it lest I eat it in my dreams lol.

It is local beans and plantain. A lot of people don't actually know this type but I think it's one of my favorite dishes.

I went to the market and got all I needed, thankfully things were quite cheaper than I expected so I bought extra at least for home keeps.

This is my plantain, I cut them into small pieces so as to to have almost the same size with my beans. Actually these sizes are my preferences.

Here is my scent leaf. It adds flavor to the aroma of the food.

Here is pepper, not blended yet as you can see it's in a mobile mortar. I prefer pounding my pepper to blending it and that's when I'm not in my lazy state. Hehehe

These are my spicy cubes this is used to enhance taste.

These are my chopped tomatoes and onion.

When the beans was finally soft,I added plantain to it and left to cook for a minute before adding other ingredients and yes I also used palm oil.

How did you know? 😄 This is one of my favourite dishes —beans and plantain porridge. It's the best! Nicely done.
