Here in India railway is still a most loved mode of transport. Still regulated by the government. Most of the people love to cover short distances using this mode which is economical too

Commuting by train is often the most economical way to get to and from work; It is the same here in my country. Travelling across the country by train is very costly though, and time consuming. It's cheaper to fly. I think the days of long-distance travel by train is largely gone now. It is a shame I think.

Here it is opposite....air travel.is costly as compaired to train. Although timing is a factor but people having enough time may opt for railway, so tht they have dual benefit, like saving and enjoyment

Ok, that makes sense. I live in a very big country and taking 4 days to get from one side to the other by train isn't really viable, so we fly generally. The rail journey across is seen as more of a tourist experience, and is therefore, very costly.

Nothing more pleasant than taking a train trip and being able to appreciate the sunrise from the dining car.

I remember that as a child with my parents we traveled from the Federal Capital to the city where I live today and when it was dawn we went to the dining room bag and there we enjoyed beautiful sunrise.

Beautiful moments lived!

I agree completely. That's what happens here. It's a three day trip. East to West and the train is luxurious and well-appointed. It is an expensive way to travel but the travel itself is the experience, not just the transport. I would love to do it someday, maybe train one way, fly back. I think the sunrise and sunsets would be the best part of the day. Thanks so much for your interaction with me. I appreciate it.

Here, unfortunately, the service is very bad and in the country we do not have the necessary infrastructure both on the tracks and on the trains.
