Ahhh….Comfort food!😊
That’s what I need right about now!🤗
Liz wanted to hike early, and then come home and roast a coffee order for a customer of ours!😊
“Liz I want to hike with you, but you will need to take several “stop breaks” for Silvertop!”
This bug has hit me hard…………..🥹
I haven’t been sick in over three years, not even Covid……
“Pushing through, only works so far Silvertop, sometimes you reach a point when it’s best to stay home and rest!”🥰
So Silvertop hiked……………
Liz wanted to decorate the baby Fir tree at the top of the ridge today for Christmas. She brought a bag full of garland along on today’s hike!😊
We passed the frozen pond on the way uphill.
“Silvertop get me a large rock, I am going to toss it high above the pond and break the ice!😇
First toss…………
It landed with a thud……..😮
“I need a larger rock Silvertop!!!!!
Another dud Lol!!!🤔
“Well Liz, the ice is much thicker than I thought!”😲
Hmmm……….
We hiked onward uphill………..
The Mrs circled the tiny tree with garland.
She was happy now, the Christmas decorations we’re running a bit late this year.
Sometimes Liz decorates a second small Douglas Fir tree that is next to this tree.
This Spring a windstorm brought a rotten tree crashing to the ground, it is “pinned” along the side of the second Fir tree!
It almost landed on the tree!😳
That’s where the second to last photo comes in!!😊
Can anyone tell me what this tool is called, and what Silvertop plans to do with it?🤔
I will let you think on this Lol!……….😇
Silvertop is going back to that Latte, and the wood stove……….

The only problem with the wise advice of your wife, is that you most often ignore it and then have to pay the price! As my mom (and yours) used to say........if you won't listen, you will have to feel!!
