“Rain, Rain, Go Away!”😇
Just that quick, we have potential flooding!😳
Our friend Jan was telling us that the schools are having counselors talk to the kids about the flooding.
Apparently many in the valley are very stressed about the possibility of flooding again this year!😮
Silvertop is extremely thankful to live in the foothills of the Mountains!
The weather forecast is calling for an “ atmospheric river“!🤔
Hmmm ……..……….
This is a new Terminology that they started using last year.
In other words ……. We are going to get all the water of puget sound dumped on us!😬
34 degrees Fahrenheit this morning…….
I put on my insulated bibs, and started working on the electric for the gate lights.
I was making progress, when the cold drizzling rain started!😅
Electric drills and rain don’t mix very well……
When the rain started coming down heavy, Silvertop was finished!😟
Another day, the lights will need to wait.
I did some comments on the blockchain, and the rain let up ……
Sounds like a good time to grab a hike!😇
My friend at the tiny house was outside working. He was wearing a complete top and bottom rain suit.
“Silvertop have you listened to the weather?”
Yep………..
Rain……….🤔
“50 MPH winds Silvertop, two inches of rain, then it’s going down to 17 degrees Fahrenheit with snow!”😬
I think I am going to go visit my friends @silversaver888 and @runridefly in California Lol!😎
Batten down the hatches ……I guess Winter is here!!☺️

We do seem to get extremes for sure! We die of thirst throughout the summer with a drought, and just when you think we can't stand the dryness any longer, the rains start, but not a little! No siree! An atmospherice river and a hydrological event! Seriously?!

How about a little normal? 🤗😘🌹

I thought this was interesting…..
I pass my neighbors Yurt on my hike each day. Joan is an artist, and decorates around the Yurt with some of her creations. This one just seem to stand out!☺️

The weather in the Northwest changes from winter to summer. In the summer blue skies very little rain, and in the winter just the opposite gray skies and tremendous amounts of rain! I wish it would be a little bit more even from summer to winter Lol!!!

Yeah. It's confusing. Poor farmers. They are having a hard time adjusting because the weather they are used to has been changing.

The same has been happening here with the drought all summer! Many crops were not what they normally expected.......
