The Heat is on………🥵
Today’s “Plan” was to get up early and hike in the cooler morning.
What’s the old saying “The best laid plans of Mice and Men” ……….
“Hiking at 11:45 AM Silvertop?” 🥰
Mt Baker to the left, and Sisters to the right in the second photo, have just started to melt snow pack.
The cornfield in the next photo is just barely knee high. The Corn better hurry up and grow!😇
Uphill we hiked in the heat……
Today’s hike was up to the “High Trail”,
More water, it’s important to stay hydrated!
Silvertop isn’t handling the heat very well!🥵
Liz was on the phone with our youngest grown and Married son Bill.
“ You know what they say Dad, the older you get the less tolerate you are with the heat Lol!”😇
Hmmm…..
I’ll go write my Actifit post inside in the A/C and cool off!☺️

It was a bit of a scorcher! Just wait until tomorrow! Ugh!! I can't decide whether to go to Bible study where there is no AC or play hooky in the coolness of our house! I'm thinking it's possbile the AC might just win!
