Before the rain storm……..After….😅
The Mrs was texting as the skies opened up…………….
“Silvertop, Lynne said the neighbors are having a Wedding at the bottom of Soaring Eagle on Sunday, can we give them space and only hike halfway down?”😇
Sounds good Liz, that’s where I am at now!😊
The sound of chainsaws running at the bottom of the valley were echoing off the hillside’s.
Even with the cold rain, it was beautiful!
I had my raincoat packed away, I guess part of me was hoping IF I don’t put it on the rain would stop Lol!😇
Hold that thought Silvertop………………

Back to today’s rain………I mean today’s hike!
This valley sits 1,130 feet below me…….
My Fitbit records the uphill floors, but that’s only the climb going toward home.
It’s the same amount of drop in elevation going down……a very good workout!😅
As the air started turning colder, and the rain intensified, I knew it was that time.
Silvertop was headed home………..
As I stepped into my driveway the Sun was back out…………
