Snow day!!!!😇
If you grew up in the Midwest, you know what this is…………..
Silvertop as a kid would be glued to the radio on School days for “THE LIST”!☺️
One by one, Schools would reluctantly be added to the “closed because of snow”broadcast list!
I still have that same snow shovel, and my original steel double runner oak top snow sled!😊
You could make $5.00 a driveway snow shoveling, back then that was better than Bitcoin Lol!🤣
Pastor Carl put out this message last night………
“If frozen roads, online only”
We were leading Worship…………
Liz gave Carl a phone call…………
Last minute setup for a Facebook live broadcast from home.😅
It turned out the storm stalled out over the Ocean……
We were committed to the home broadcast, and it went well.
It’s all good, a very strange year we just had my friends!🤣
The afternoon was looking good for a hike , the Mrs gave our friend Jan a call, and the three of us headed out by 2:30.
I posted about Cougar tracks……
Check out @elizabethbit post today, we have cat tracks EVERYWHERE!😻
We hiked up to the off grid cabin, and the storm that hadn’t quite made it to us was starting to cross the valley in our direction!
Time to call today’s hike, over 99 uphill floors, a good hike!

It’s always an eye-opener when it snows, and you can see just how active these cougars are!😳
I think in the winter time they come down to this one pond to drink and then they follow the same trails that we hikeback up into the mountains!😬😻
Hiking with cougars is sort of exciting! I guess I'm just strange, but I'm not the only one! 😻😘🤗💕

Wow, the snow is never that bad here, I can only remember 1 day that the school was closed.
Covid, now that's another issue. I am sure a few schools will struggle next week.
Yes I think that’s on the rise up here as well one of the Mrs. coworkers just got sick stay healthy have a wonderful week!
