What a busy week for me back in the shop. The weather is not cooperating today with my plans. It is cold, raining and windy. I needed to pick up a bunch of supplies, but it’s now going to have to wait.
So what’s on today’s agenda for #fiveouncefriday ????
The title does say Scottsdale Style......
Which means what piece or pieces am I going to show from the Scottsdale Mint ????
This is the Scottsdale Mints Silver bullseye button. It is a cast pour but is very beautiful and each one is unique.

A very cool shiny chunk! I like the details on the front with the lion, but it also tends to have almost a hand poured look to the backside of it even though it's cast. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Most cast bars look like poured bars and can deceive many. There are tons of cast Engelhard bars that people try to sell as hand poured. If it’s too perfect it’s not poured.

Great looking buttons, smaller than hockey pucks (As if I was familiar with hockey) so let's say the size of Tabletop Shuffleboard 'Pucks' these were available at Silvergoldbull but were marked up pretty high at the time so I settled for the 100g poured bars.
