I never remembered interacting with that user.
@ahmadmangazap, I found the answers I was looking for. The downvoter on my posts started a flag war, and I think I just got "hit" even though I had nothing to do with the war.

It's not even a war if its just one sided slaughter. Or just a man child vs a mob. Best not to cry over lost rewards and pretend it wasn't upvoted in the first place as nothing is yours before the 7 day payout.
I am fully aware that pending payouts are not yet actual rewards. I generally value engagement (meaningful comments) more than the rewards, but in this case I got neither.

According to one of the comments of the downvoter, "it is the thought that counts", so even a tiny upvote or downvote "means a lot" to them.

Yeah more like a one sided bitch slap than a flag war Lol, I wouldnt worry too much most of the time accounts that randomly attack others for no reason have very little too do.
I find it best to just ignore them and move on
