RE: Teaching Your Kids the Value of Working for Money

If they give up on the dream toy that easily because they can't get it instantly then they didn't really want it ;D

I don't think I've done matchies with the kids before, they've always had 2-3 money containing things (the older ones have a spending and saving account now that they're old enough to manage their own bank accounts, youngest still has the child bank account and his wallet, when they were younger it was wallet, piggybank and bank account), one to spend from, one to save up for big things for and one tha they're not supposed to touch, though this last one has completely disappeared off the radar for the big kids -_-

I must say your kids are extra ordinary. Good for them to have imbued the value of saving at a young age. You must have done a great job raising them. :)

Thank you! Aaahhh I hope so, currently my middle child is on a massive spending spree and keeps taking money out of their savings XD but then they're learning the hard way at least when it's a time that's safe to do so even if I would much prefer they build their savings at this stage (though given how things are going I'm not even sure if that's possible now x_x).
