For some reason I find the question about what motivates us as a broad one. I feel we really can’t give one answer for such a question as we tend to get different motivations for different things in our lives. So when it comes to the topic of motivation, we have to sit down, relax and properly think of the right answers to say because answering.

Someone like me, it almost like I need motivation for everything. One of the main reason why I try not to miss any of my classes in school is because I don’t want to fail. The thought of failing and probably ending up carrying over a course gives me all the strength and motivation that I need.

The same thing applies to why I work so hard everyday. Trust me, if you’ve seen people who are really poor and struggling, then you will understand me when I say not wanting to be broke is all the motivation I need to always make me put in my one hundred in every job I do, be it online or offline (and I don’t even have an offline job).

I know I said that there isn’t one thing that generally motivates everyone but if there is, it most definitely would be money. I say this because when you think of it, almost everything we do is so that at the end of the day we can make money out of it. We go to school so that we can get good jobs and make cool cash when all of that is done, same thing applies to our teachers and lecturers, they do all of that all because at the end of it, they get paid.

So yeah, money is most definitely the one thing that I can say motivates everyone one way or another.

I guess the only reason why I don’t attend weekly services in church is probably because I haven’t had an encounter with a ghost or some supernatural being, I’m one hundred percent sure that the moment I do (God forbid) I will be sleeping in the church, refusing to leave or do anything else.

So yeah, different motivations for different things.

I think money is a motivating factor only when a person has a lack of it. The moment you have much of it, it stops being a motivating factor. The way I see it, to achieve something or the prevent the loss of something are some of the biggest motivating factors. This doesn't exclusively has to be about money.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I guess I said money because I'm also in need of it too. 😂

You are right. Different motivation for different things and the end goal is to make money.

Yeah most times, the end of it all is to make money.

You're are right, money is a big motivation to so many if not everyone. We stay motivated when we see we have so much bills to settle 😪.

There are different reasons for motivation just have you have given examples, what inspires me right now might not do so in the next minute but I think money is the result of our motivation and not motivation itself.

I stand to be corrected.

Hmmm I think this is correct and maybe also not correct..I think money can be the motivation itself and also the result of our motivation.

It can play both roles at once.

That's true, thanks for shedding more light on that.
