Bucket List
You know how everyone of us has that one thing at the top of our bucket list that we wish to experience some day, well I happen to have one too. Unfortunately, this particular bucket list can't be granted by myself, I will need the help of someone to see it come true and that's not even the tricky part yet.
The tricky part of this bucket list of mine is that I don't just need any kind of person, I need a powerful man of God, one strong enough to make me fall under the anointing of God because ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, that is my bucket list. Like my Nigerian people will say "I want to fall under anointing".
Now for those of you who might not know what falling under anointing is (sorry I don't have a more understandable name for it), falling under anointing is basically what we call that thing that happens to members of a church when a pastor stretches out his or her hand on them and then they start to stagger and roll all over the place for sometime before someone catches them in other to avoid them hurting themselves or someone else.
Now that is something that I've always seen as fake. Especially because of this one lady at my church who always falls under anointing every Sunday. It even got to a stage where I came to the conclusion that if she wasn't faking it, then she's probably possessed by a lot of demons that are fighting so hard to remain in her body. One time she broke a chair while falling under the anointing and I could tell by the looks on the pastors face that he didn't like that kind of anointing.
Now I said I used to think it was all fake and good acting but I started to believe the day I saw my mom stagger a bit in church. She didn't fall or roll but the staggering was more than enough for me to have a second thought about the whole thing because I know that woman, and her acting wasn't that good.
Anyways, I can't say for sure if it's real or not because I haven't really experienced it myself but I honestly hope I do someday because I can't wait to know how it feels to be under the anointing of God.
