Since about a month, I am active on Sorare, the amazing NFT sportscard platform. I bought myself some cards for a smaller sum. But those are for after the World Cup. Now I am actually playing the free game that was organized by Sorare in honour of the World Cup. Anyone could enter, and over 570 thousand people all over the world entered the free game. Which is amazing, and shows how big this platform has become. And at the same time, how much opportunities for growth it still has.

In round 4 of the World Cup, my team was in the top 20000 of the 572k teams that entered, and I got a pretty nice reward for that. I received one of the 2022 National Series cards of Christian Pulisic of team USA on the World Cup. The card is worth around 10 USD right now, but who knows what it will be worth in the future. He is still a very young player. Pretty nice reward for a free game.

And for me, the real game still has to start, after the World Cup, with my selection of cards I bought to enter the national league games. I actually can't wait.

NBA too

I enter the free games of the NBA every three days too. I managed some small wins over there, but it makes following the NBA a lot more fun. I even managed to flip some NBA cards for profit. It's a pretty amazing thing, that NFT gaming. Especially, because there is real sports involved, which give it an extra layer unpredictability, and also some kind of knowledge of the game takes you a bit further. I find this a great invention, and see a great future for this type of Fantasy Sports.
