Hardfork makes it impossible to post via Peakd.com

Hardforks suck

Really, I am not kidding here. Always trouble after a Hardfork. Unable to transact. Unable to post, I really hate that.

Why are the forks necessary? I’d it really that important? I think continuity is important too...

I can post via Peakd, but there's tons of bugs and I'm asking myself as well why the heck to we need so many hardforks and why everything around here needs to be so complicated.

I didn't do any research only read a post by @aggroed. It seems that a mini hard-fork on the old chain has happened just before the real HF24 should happen. Now the main chain, the good one is replaying itself from the valid state and that takes time.

Well, still, people that don’t know shit about blockchain just don’t understand this and are put off by it. This shouldn’t be swept under the carpet if we want to onboard the masses...

I agree with you. I know that it's supposed to be decentralized yet ... in times like these, there should be one authority to publish relevant announcements. On time!
