Eifel region, Germany, just wow in the fall!
Holidays
We used the holiday week to go and hike in the Eifel region of Germany. It is a place full of woods that grow on very old volcanoes. The volcanoes are not active anymore but have left over some huge craters and amazing rock formations. Ideal to hike in and bathe in the woods. We loved it and so did our dogs, which can run around freely as it is so vast, your nearly meet any other people.
And now in the fall, the colours of the leaves give this place a magical extra touch. A sense of quietness and mystery. I left stressed, and turned back completely reloaded. I can recommend this to anyone. Travel there, book a house via AirBNB and go out and hike every single day. Nothing more unstressing that this.
And of course at night you drink a good glass of the local Riesling wine and you will sleep like a rock!

The Eifel region is a really beautiful place. I have been there myself and want to go again sometime. Glad to hear you enjoyed your time there 😊
We try to go there every year in the fall… last year wasn’t possible because of the Covid shizzle… We can really take a breather there!
