Bernal just won the Giro d'Italia

Remco lost it all today

The toughest stage in the Giro d'Italia was today. It was shortened because of very bad weather, but it still was tough as hell for the riders. And the Passo di Gavia put things in a definitive state. Egan Bernal attacked 3.5 kilometers from the top, and rode all the other riders into oblivion. After this stage, the number 2 in the standings, Damiano Carruso has more than 2 minutes to catch up with Bernal. Which I don't see happening in the next week. And Remco Evenepoel, he lost more than 25 minutes today, and has to give up his plans for the overall standings. Hopefully he can pull off something magical next Sunday, at the time trial in Milan.

This Giro has shown to be an incredible race to watch.
