The white cliffs of Dover

It’s a movie from 1944 and a famous song from Vera Lynn. Bug today we saw the white cliffs of Dover for real from a 33 kilometre distance on the other side of the channel. It was an amazing hike near Calais at the narrowest part of the North-Sea, the channel. We hiked the cliffs of Cap Blanc Nez and had a magnificent view on the channel and the white cliffs of Dover.

The true fierceness of nature shows beautifully at this part of France. Chalk rocks, a rough ocean and wind, lots of wind.

I recommend a hike over there to everyone, refreshing for mind and body!
