Here I am joining the contest Behind the picture in its # 6 Edition for the first time.

Aquí estoy sumándome por primera vez al concurso Behind The Photo en su #6 Edición.

After walking for a long time on the beach in Pehuen-Có, I decided to take a walk in the city to avoid the intense summer sun.

Después de caminar un buen rato por la playa en Pehuen-Có decidí hacer mi paseo por la ciudad para evitar el intenso sol del verano.

As I undertook the return to the house that my parents have in this beautiful Villa Balnearia I found the famous boat house, whose story I will begin to tell them.

Al emprender el regreso a la casa que mis padres tienen en esta linda Villa Balnearia me encontré con la famosa casa barco, cuya historia comenzaré a contarles.

It tells the story that an Italian immigrant named Luis Novelli decided to emigrate from his home country in search of new opportunities after World War II. The trip to the new continent (America) takes place aboard a vessel called "ROME".

Cuenta la historia que un inmigrante italiano llamado Luis Novelli decidió emigrar de su país natal en busca de nuevas oportunidades después de la segunda guerra mundial. El viaje hacia el nuevo continente (América) transcurre a bordo de una embarcación llamada "ROMA".

During the trip they had to go through a very strong storm that almost does not end with the shipwreck.

Durante el viaje debieron atravesar una fortísima tormenta que por poco no termina con el naufragio de la embarcación.

In those moments of great anguish and where everything made it seem that the worst outcome was going to occur, Novelli promised to make a replica of the ship on the Argentine coast if they arrived safely on the mainland.

En esos momentos de gran angustia y donde todo hacía parecer que iba a producirse el peor desenlace Novelli prometió realizar una réplica del barco en la costa argentina si llegaban sanos y salvos a tierra firme.

Luckily they were able to overcome the strong storm and as he had promised in that extreme situation he commissioned the construction of the "Boat House". The work was completed in 1954.

Por suerte pudieron sortear la fuerte tormenta y tal como había prometido en aquella situación extrema encargó la construcción de la "Casa Barco". La obra fue concluida en el año 1954.

The vast majority of the construction was done in traditional construction, although irons, sheets, wires and others were also used to make the details of the bow (they can be seen until the rivets replicate).
The ship was not only replicated abroad, but the details of the interior were also taken care of. The pendants of light (spiders) are similar to that of the Roma ship and in general try to respect all the details.

La gran mayoría de la construcción fue realizada en construcción tradicional, aunque también se utilizaron hierros, chapas, alambres y demás para realizar los detalles de la proa (se pueden observar hasta la replica de los remaches).
El barco no solo fue replicado en el exterior, sino que también se cuidaron los detalles del interior. Los colgantes de luz (arañas) son similares a la del barco Roma y en general trataron de respetar todos los detalles.
