Amazing Nature Contest - November 2020 - #03

Very good evening dear nature-loving friends! It seems incredible how time passes and we are already in the edition #03 of the Amazing Nature Contest - November 2020 - #03. A few weeks ago I shared with you some very nice pictures that were taken during a walk we did in a sector of the Quequén Salado River where we could enjoy a wonderful day surrounded by a very beautiful natural environment. In that section of the river I remember that we shared beautiful walks following the path on the river bank.

Hace unas pocas semanas compartí con ustedes fotos muy lindas que fueron tomadas en un paseo que hicimos por un sector del Río Quequén Salado el el cual pudimos disfrutar de un día maravilloso rodeados de un entorno natural muy bello. En ese tramo del Río recuerdo que compartimos de hermosas caminatas siguiendo el sendero sobre la ribera del río.

When we got home we started to investigate a little more about the river and found a website that showed us many of the attractions that the Quequén Salado offers up to its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean, so this time we decided to return to the place and discover some of the other attractions that Amazing Nature gives us.

Cuando llegamos a casa comenzamos a investigar un poco más sobre el río y encontramos un sitio web que nos mostraba muchos de los atractivos que el Quequén Salado ofrece hasta su desembocadura en el océano Atlántico, por lo que en esta oportunidad decidimos volver al lugar y descubrir alguno de los otros atractivos que nos regala la Amazing Nature.

In this opportunity we decided to advance a little more on the way to the mouth in search of the largest waterfall in the province of Buenos Aires, known as the Cifuentes Waterfall, one of the great attractions that the river offers on its long journey to the sea.

En esta oportunidad decidimos avanzar un poco más en camino hacia la desembocadura en busca del salto de agua más grande de la provincia de Buenos Aires, que se conoce como la Cascada Cifuentes, uno de los grandes atractivos que el río ofrece en su largo camino al mar.

The idea of this afternoon was to get to know this sector of the river, to walk along its shore which becomes deeper and deeper and to be able to enjoy the charms that nature and life give us, because I believe that there is no activity more interesting than getting to know new places when you can. No one ever knows what awaits us when we immerse ourselves in an adventure in nature.

La idea de esta tarde fue conocer este sector del río, caminar sobre su ribera que cada vez se torna más profunda y poder disfrutar de los encantos que la naturaleza y la vida nos regala, porque creo que no hay actividad más interesante que el conocer lugares nuevos cuando se pueda. Nunca nadie sabe lo que nos puede deparar cuando os sumergimos en una aventura en la naturaleza.

We take advantage of the intense sun and heat to enjoy the river and take a nice dip to cool down and enjoy not only a good walk, but also the benefits of river water. In this opportunity the walk was much more complex since with our little baby we find it very difficult to access certain places and obviously we do not want to expose her to any danger.

Aprovechamos el intenso sol y el calor para disfrutar del río y darnos un lindo chapuzón para refrescarnos y poder disfrutar no solo de una buena caminata, sino también de las bondades del agua de río. En esta oportunidad la caminata fue mucho más compleja ya que con nuestra pequeña beba se nos hace muy difícil acceder a ciertos lugares y obviamente no queremos exponerla a ningún peligro.

The day was ideal to throw ourselves into the water and to try to cross the river on foot, taking advantage of the low water level and the fact that there were no large currents. My daughter crossed it back and forth twice; the first time with me and later with my wife. It was very difficult to keep up with her as she is extremely agile.

El día estuvo ideal para echarnos al agua y para intentar cruzar el río a pie, aprovechando la baja en su caudal y que no había grandes correntadas. Mi hija lo cruzo ida y vuelta en dos ocasiones; en la primer oportunidad conmigo y después o hizo con mi esposa. Era muy difícil seguirle el paso ya que ella es sumamente ágil.

At some other time we will return to the river to continue knowing the path that the river is taking and discovering new natural attractions that the river is leaving behind.

En algún otro momento volveremos al río para seguir conociendo el camino que el río va recorriendo y descubriendo nuevos atractivos naturales que el río va dejando a su paso.
