Time Factor: A freewrite

Sitting outside with my next door neighbor one day and she decided to share with me her ordeal at her daughter's school. It was the season for school sport known has inter house sport. During this time there are different sport games that are being played, ranging from 100meter race to high jump etc. ,by different houses and the overall winner, 2nd and 3rd runner up in all the games receives award. After the game some schools also create games for parents and teacher and gives the winner award.

Her daughter school decided that they are going to involve the parents in an 100meter race although it's not compulsory but any parent fit enough can join so she decided to join them judging from her teenage years when she use to be the best racer at that time but she actually forgot the fact that she is much older now and doesn't have that strength and capacity like before. As the race began she said she noticed that as she tried to run her buttocks were dragging her back but she forcefully push herself. In her tone she said "I gear up myself". She hasn't ran 10meter of the race when she fell down and people ran to her aid. She said "I practically fainted". Thank God the medical team were close by she was carried out from the field and was giving first aid which helped regained herself.

She actually drive her daughter to the event but after incident it was her husband that came around to drive them back home she couldn't drive.
The following day she couldn't stand up from her bed her legs and body were so heavy and her husband starts to massage her body with hot water and was laughing at her at the same time. The husband said what were you thinking because I can't still lay my hands on the reason why you participated in the race. After all said and done she was practically sick for a week and learnt a hard lesson that there is time and season for everything.
