Top 4 In View.

What a game it was between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal. This is a perfect example of "you don't always have to be at your best to win". Football changes so quickly and you must not lose concentration until the final whistle is blown, else, you would find yourself to blame and that's what happened to Wolves on the night.

Wolves played exciting football against Arsenal and they were a constant threat every time they burst forward. Hee-Chan was amazing, Raul Jimenez played his part, Ruben Neves wasn't left out with the exciting Podence. It wasn't surprising to see Wolves take the lead because they dominated the early exchanges. It was Hee-Chan who gave them the lead before Pepe came off the bench to draw Arsenal level. Just when you thought the game would end as a draw, Lacazette popped up with the goods to give Arsenal the lead with the final kick of the game. Such cruelty hahaha but Arsenal fans would enjoy that.

Tottenham fans would have preferred Wolves to win it. It's like picking between two lesser evils because Wolves are also a threat to Tottenham's hope for a top 4. I was hoping for a draw between the two sides but seeing Arsenal win means they are within a point of 4th placed Manchester United and Arsenal have 2 games at hand which makes it a threat for Manchester United in case Arsenal wins those two games.

The points at hand are probably preferred to the ones not yet accounted for by Arsenal as we have seen with Tottenham losing practically all their outstanding games save the City one. Tottenham would have knocked Manchester United out of the top 4 had they won all their outstanding games. Arsenal would have to be careful so they won't have to face the same fate because they have tricky games ahead and at this stage of the season, they have to.be careful not to drop too many points as they don't want to be further down the log.

Wolves lost concentration when it mattered the most and they got punished for it but that won't take the focus away from the phenomenal season they are having this season. They are all but guaranteed safety as they have the 40-point tally already and the goal should now be pushing for Europe.

Arsenal showed their mental strength and character by digging deep into the game to win it. With how wild they celebrate, everyone can see how much it means to them. This should be good morale-boosting for Arsenal as they try and stake their claim for a top 4 finish. Mikel Arteta would be happy because at this stage you need to get the maximum point to stay in the hunt.

Wolves played so well but they can take courage from this by applying the lesson for their next game about the need for maximum concentration until the man in the middle blows the whistle. The top 4 seem to be in view for Arsenal now and they have their destiny in their hands. We would have to see what the rest of the season holds for them.

Thank you for your time.

Lol. You are sounding a bit concerned as if this plays out like it could United could end up 8th and how funny would that be. Somehow I am sorry to tell you I don't see them in the top 4 this season and honestly they don't exactly deserve it either. Wait for the bigger games to come up later in the season and those will be key. They struggle against virtually every team as their weaknesses are that bad. United have to score as everyone knows they can score against them.

🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂 that's true. I am actually concerned we might slip further behind with Arsenal and Tottenham getting the needed points but you are right, Arsenal are as unreliable as United. Arsenal might struggle soon because of the big games they still have to play. I would love that though hahaha.

Arsenal in the top 4? I don't see the possibility of that and I won't even want them there because it would be a wasted slot. Arsenal have been competing in the UCL but no impacts. Currently, they are not even ready for such advanced competition.

Maybe Europa won't be a bad idea.

As much as I really hope Arsenal finish in the top four, I am as much skeptical if they'd be able to mentally fight till the end, given the history of how consistently inconsistent Arsenal can be.

United have not been any better and in fact, I may even go scot-free by saying they aren't a threat to that ambition, save the fact that they currently occupy that spot.

I'd just keep taking it game by game and just hope that Arsenal can shut many mouths.

That's it... game by game. Arsenal doesn't have the mental strength and United are far from being a threat in any way.

Nice analysis! As an Arsenal fan I’m still skeptical if the team will make top 4 because they are quick to disappoint . I just want to be surprised because if we don’t make top 4 come ending of the season I won’t find that surprising.

That's true... Arsenal might not be able to handle the pressure.
