There is no denying how talented Mason Greenwood is. A lot of those who have worked with him have spoken about what an incredible bundle of talent he is. In fact, the fans alike can see how good he can be on his days. Solskjaer spoke glowingly about how gifted he is with his two feet; you can hardly tell which one is his favourite foot with how good he dazzled with them.

We have seen stories about Balotelli and Brazilian Adriano...maybe a bit of Alexander Pato too because I rated Pato so high too but he couldn't even take advantage of his loan spell with Chelsea. Greenwood seems to be following this same path too and it's shameful to see. I tagged this sporting disaster because we have so many unfulfilled talents - players you expect their career to take off but they just stalled due to indiscipline. Hopefully, before the week runs out, I would talk about another sporting disaster that ripped my heart out hahaha with Manchester United losing out on the title.

We know Ronaldo gave an interview about how youngsters hardly take instructions these days. Roy Keane backed him up and even Rio Ferdinand spoke about how they were so hard on Ronaldo when he was at Manchester United and he would go to the locker room and cry. Giggs spoke about it too, with Patrice Evra. It showed us how youngsters develop in character and when Ronaldo came, he noticed most youngsters have grown wings and wouldn't even like to be corrected.

The moment he mentioned that I knew he was speaking about Greenwood because if anyone checked my Twitter feeds for a month now, they can see how I have always been tweeting about how selfish Greenwood has been. He wouldn't pass when he should, he wouldn't even show remorse for any gameplay he ruined. He just wants to carry the ball, run with it and strike it with the hope it finds the back of the net so he can rub it in the faces of those who think he is cocky. I sensed that from his attitude for a while now. The moment he missed an opportunity for United, to either pass or score, he looks away quickly because he didn't want to be told how wrong he was right there.

The even of recent hours about him forcefully demanding sex from his girlfriend with those bruises says a lot about someone who just wants to have his way at all times, do things the way he feels like doing them without being bothered how it leaves the other person. The girlfriend must have had it for her to come out in the open to expose what she has been suffering underneath.

A lot of people criticized the older players for unfollowing him but their actions show that they have also seen a young man who doesn't want to be corrected - someone who doesn't like being told what to do even if it's for his good. A lot of people would say he is young, yes, rightly so, but isn't that the time you need to keep your feet on the ground and learn from those who have done it, career-wise and even relationship-wise? Anyone who thinks he knows better would always self destruct and the best you can do is to take a step back and watch them learn the hard way. There is little you can do for someone who doesn't want to learn and be better.

With these charges, I am not sure this is a case of publicity stunt except the girlfriend withdraws the case. There was also a voice note of him forcefully demanding sex saying if he asked nicely she wouldn't bulge. Greenwood is now on the path of self-destruction because he has been suspended by Manchester United and banned from showing up to training. He has been called for questioning by the Police and if convicted, there is a higher chance he would spend some time behind bars which would force Manchester United to terminate his contract and most clubs would want to stay off him.

We never can tell what would happen after he has served his time but you can be so sure that his career can never be the same again because the fans won't forget and any team who tries to revive his career would feel the heat as well as we saw with the case of Adam Johnson and now, that's another talent wasted because Adam Johnson used to be very good and Sunderland fans can attest to that.

Manchester United already distanced themselves from the actions of Mason Greenwood and that's for you to know that if convicted, he would not have any career at Old Trafford again. Even Nike already distanced themselves from his actions and we wait to see how this whole thing pans out and maybe it would be the case of another wasted talent from another youngster.
