Fire burning in the forest outside of town

From Osoyoos to Kelowna and beyond.
Here are photos i was able to capture of the fire bombers heli attack and smoke plumes that have been deployed throughout the area.

Although not as bad as other years the multiple spots fires here and there spread the crews thin.

The next day they decided to use bigger Helicopters....as the fire grew from a few Hectares to over 200 Ha.

What if the government spend as much money on education training arts and culture as they do on killing people in far away lands, perhaps the valley would not be in the state it is in. Considering many of the fires were started on land held by one or two of the 8 classes of citizens classes that exist here in Canada.
