Rainy - Afternoon Run

I just finished a 6.599km running that lasted about 0hh:30mm:5ss !

Rain and sore legs are not great for motivation, but as the forecast for tomorrow calls for a lot more rain, and much heavier, I thought it was a good idea to put in a few miles today, and get my mileage for October going. When I started, it was more of a drizzle, but after maybe 10 minutes, it started raining for real and that's when I decided to run only about 4 miles. It's also why I chose streets close to my house, just in case the rain got too heavy, this way I could head back home quicker. I ended up getting home just before it started pouring. It didn't last too long but still better to be indoor then.

The run itself felt a bit more difficult than the last few ones, and the pace at 7:20 min/mile is not particularly fast for this short distance. Maybe the temperature played a role. In spite of the rain, it was actually warmer than the previous days, and obviously humid. But most likely I just need to start stretching and getting better rest, because my legs were more the problem today, rather than my lungs. I know I said that often, but I will try this month, I just can't keep training without ever warming up, cooling down or stretching.

Anyways, unless the forecast is very wrong, and we get some time without rain tomorrow, next run should be on Monday, possibly with light rain too. Till then, keep Exhausting!
