My Actifit Report Card: June 23 2022

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was again very sunny, and heat was in the forecast.

So we went for a walk to the forest with the dogs early again, before it got too hot.

As soon as I took the leashes off, the dogs bolted and started their exploration.

Then we stayed indoor, except for a few breaks in the yard. Just too hot for me. But late afternoon, we went for another long walk to the forest.

A quick detour to catch the sun starting its descent behind the trees.

On the way back, we had to go back in the forest, completely off-trail, just to avoid a loud dog in one of the backyards.

And to finish the day, it was time for a bike ride. Most of it was in darkness because I started so late. But by chance, I caught one of the fireworks on my ride back. I'm not particularly a fan of these, but I did stop for a few minutes. Not too long because my dogs, although not too afraid of fireworks, prefer to have company when it gets really loud.

Thanks! Yes, the shade definitely helps with the heat. We still have to keep it short though, that heat is still kind of brutal. So, several short walks instead of a long walk.
