Selected photos from Meteora, Greece

Today I am sharing with you few newly edited pictures from our photo travel to Meteora in Greece.
I shared by story few days ago, check it if you're interested in finding out more about this holy place: https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@lightcaptured/holy-place-touching-heavens

Truly a place for all lovers of the eight art, the photography. I've been there few times already, I definitely would love to get back again once it is possible to travel freely.

Meteroa is awesome, have been there some years ago (15? 😄). Thanks for sharing great photos! I recall my girlfriend had to borrow some clothes as she was wearing short European clothes (short sleeves, skirt and such) 😄

Thank you :) Indeed, it's awesome! Yes, those rules for entering the monasteries, with the clothes covering the legs and arms and head-cloths haven't changed and I don't think they will ever change. There was a few years gap between my first and second visit and I saw a change, the tourist volume was maybe ten times bigger but I guess it won't be that big now, considering the pandemic. Not sure what would happen after that era of uncertainties...

Oh, this wonderful place still exits. Me and my wife visited meteora 40 years ago, maybe there are some slides in any corner of our house. In this time it was really difficult to get there. Thank you to bring back memories.

Thank you :) I suppose this amazing, divine place will exist long after we are all gone...
Do you have any pics to share from back then? That would be interesting for me to see :)

Well, I think I can find the pictures, but I would have to digitize the slides. I could take fotos with a digital camera, we will see.

I would love to see the differences and your perspective as well, of course, but not if it puts any pressure on you :)

Tto get an impression: I took a photo of two slices on a light-box with my handy. Do not mind quality, just for fun.

Oh, it looks great, I would say conceptual :) Considering the size, the quality is excellent! Thank you :)

I am not sure I've taken photos from the same perspectives but if I find similar points of view, I'll mention you :) Please do so if you decide to share more online, I think this would be lovely!

Oh, thank you. I'm not quite sure what it does mean. Wine - some sort of crypto, I think? Anyway, I'm glad to see you pleased. Some day I will try to digitize part of my slides, but in the moment - to much work.

Heheh, I am sorry.
Actually, I'm not sorry! :D While our bodies are still restrained from travelling properly, our minds are free to travel everywhere in a split of a second, I love that :)
Stay strong!

Nice, nice :) I live in the countryside so I found myself not listening to music as I did before :) With the spring coming I'll be listening to the songs of birds outside more :)))
Oh, the Greek Islands... other dreams :)
