Moments of Eternity - my entry to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

Long exposures are a powerful tool to add/embed more motion, ideas and concepts into our still images. One of my favorite techniques as a photography lover. Probably the best concept that could be underlined with the usage of this technique is time. Such pictures almost always come out moody and have that special "ghostly" outlook.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by @monochromes, supported by @qurator, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

Wow. You've just given me an idea. This is very impressive. I love the creepy atmosphere.

Also, what was your camera, camera settings and did you use a tripod?

Great to hear that! Looking forward to see your pictures inspired by these :)
I used here my Canon full frame body but any camera with long exposure could produce a good picture.
Shutter times vary, experiment and have fun. Those photos above - near the cross are 1.3-3 seconds, while the woman, the artisan in the carpet shop, the exposure time is 30 seconds.
The tripod is a must for this type of photos. You may need a ND filter if there is too much light.
Cheers :)
