Prior going to lake Kerkini, a national reserve park in Northern Greece, I've seen only single Great Egrets, not a flock of them. They are also called "Great White Herons" and are always very shy and to a person it is hard to get close to them. This particular occasion, we kinda surprised them as it seems they are generally not afraid of the passing cars. So I've got few seconds to prepare my camera and slowly get out of the car. Then in few seconds they were of course gone with the wind as, as far as I know, their sight is much better than human sight :)

When I returned to the car parked aside the rural road, I saw a strange dog that wasn't actually a dog but a fox behaving a bit like a dog, heheh :) It didn't seem to be quite concerned about us ;)
