Country life

Do you think life in the country is easy? Romantic? Idyllic?

Perhaps if you go to your country house for the weekends only, it looks that way.

However, people there struggle every day and fight for their choice of living. For instance, check out this photo below I took. All that could be told by it is that it isn't a sunny day. In fact, just few minutes after I clicked the shitter there was a rainstorm and thunders. So imagine how that shepherd feels, all alone, under the heavy rain, hoping a lightning does not strike him down. Hundreds of examples like this could be given.

This is just my humble appreciation and deep respect of all those people whos business is livestock, farming, agriculture, etc. Usually they are not millionaires as their profit is taken by the sellers and movers of their products. Nevertheless, all our lives depend on them...

I keep repeating myself I should look closer and pay more attention to the important things. Stay safe!

I think a lot of people find that more simpler ways of life than what we have is more romantic or, at the least, more nostalgic. We're busy, we're on the move all the time, and bombarded by computer screens and tv screens and phone screens all day long. There is so much noise, from the air conditioner to loud cars and sirens.

One of my escapes is gardening, which I do like to do. Another is to go for long hikes in the woods. Both of these make me wonder what it would be like to live a more rustic lifestyle, but you are absolutely right; it's hard work - really hard work - and a very big change in lifestyle.

That was precisely one of the main reasons I left the capital some time ago and moved to country life! There are so many challenges and many of them cannot be predicted in any way but I think at some point in our lives most of us need that change. I hope I am never forced to live again in a big city :)
The work in the garden is my gym as apart from the winter there is always something to do, actually plenty to do, watering, mowing, cutting bushes, etc... It is work that brings a lot of positive vibes :)

first off, this photograph is stunning

@wwwiebe puts it quite perfectly. The modern day way of living is not one that I fancy. The Idea that you have to always be in a particular activity at all times. In my country, there is this radio show called rush hour. The man would always say I am in a hurry, you're in a hurry everybody is in a hurry.

I personally would love to retire to a country side one day. To the open ground, where I'd her birds chirping, wind blowing and all.

but truly, These people are truly a big part of the system and maybe more attention could be given to them

True words! The fun part is that even in the peaks of the pandemic lock downs we were again in a "rush hour" :) Strange but true, people were so nervous.
Thanks for stopping by!
