To be honest, I don't like lottery. I like to take a part in contests or competition. However, in this challenge, I should tell you if I won $10,000 prize from a contest.

$10,000 in my country

In my country $10,000 is worth IDR 145,000,000 . What can you do with $10,000? With those cash you can buy A Daihatsu Ayla, small city car with five seats.

$10,000 prize for me

There are many things that I can do with the prize

• I will give $1,000 cash to my mom
  The first thing that I want to do is giving $1,000 cash to my mom. I will let my mom use the money for things she want to buy and to do. $1,000 is a big money, I think my mom will be happy with the cash.
• I will start a small fast food counter.

A cost of small fast food counter is around $1,000. I prefer to buy frenchise outlet because I should not think about the products and all about selling. I just need to find a perfect location to open an outlet. I like to buy fried chicken outlet. Fried chicken franchise outlet cost around $1,000. It is a profitable business here.

• I will give $1,000 to my wife
  I will give $1,000 to my wife in cash. She may want to buy some clothes for her and her children. I will let her spend the money for her own.
• I will share $500 for charity
  I will spend the money for the poor here and for kids who need school equipments. There are some children that need to buy shoes, bags and other school stuffs. I will buy them the needs for schooling.
• I will change my motorcycle to the new one
  New motorcycle is around $1,300. I need the motorcycle to pick my kids to school when the covid crisis ends.
• I will visit my mom and my brother in home town and take them go travelling to Jogjakarta.
  I will go home town and meet my mom. I will take my mom and my brother family to go travelling and stay in a hotel for one or two days in Jogjakarta. The activities may need $1,500 .
• I have spend $6300 so I still have $3700. I will save $1000 in cash , $2000 to pay my mortgage loan and $700 for my pocket money.

That what G want to do if I won $10,000 prize. Getting such a huge of money is very difficult today. My salary is around $120 / month only. That is small money. To get $10,000 I need about 7 years of working. Wow that will be long time to save such huge of money.

Is there any competition with the prize? I think writing or blogging competition will not reach such a big prize. Participating in lottery is also risky because we have to buy a ticket to join. In my country, lottery is not legal. In the past, when I was a kid there is a legal lottery to fund sport programs by government. The name of the program is " Porkas". Porkas has closed in 90s. Some people join online lottery that is host by non Indonesian players.
