$5.4 million for the NFT of the Original World Wide Web Source Code

This particular NFT in my opinion feels like the only NFT I have come across that is worth it. All other NFTs make my jaw drop.

The reason I feel this NFT is worth the price is because, the World Wide Web was revolutionary. The World Wide Web is the universe of network-accessible information, that is its the embodiment of human knowledge. It was a revolution of internet that has a great impact on humans and earth at large. In my own opinion it should worth more than $5.4 million. This was an online auction at Sotheby’s.

The Web code was original invented by Tim Berners-Lee and the NFT was created by Berners-Lee and it depicts the various digital items from when he invented it in 1989.

Well just as @readthisplease said in his article, other NFTs are expensive because collectors value bragging rights more than the work itself and also the digital scarcity.

Because of how unique they are , and having unique digital codes they create digital scarcity making it very expensive.

Someone Actually paid $6.6 million for this NFT

I think there's no question that there's rampant money flashing around on NFTs in this Wild West beginning era. In my view, it's still very, very early in this game. :)
